Kate Perch is the Director of Homeless Services at Prevention Point Philadelphia, supervising a team offering housing outreach, advocacy, and placements for individuals experiencing homelessness. She is most proud of their emergency housing project which provides shelter and case management services for up to 80 individuals in a uniquely low demand and harm reduction focused setting. Kate has a particular interest in working with city and non-profit partners to create a comprehensive and compassionate continuum of housing services for people who use drugs. Previously, Kate spent seven years as a case manager at several Permanent Supportive Housing programs operated by Bethesda Project and has a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. A Philadelphia native, she is passionate about making our city a welcoming, caring, and safe home for everyone.
