Youth Special Projects Coordinator
CT Coalition to End Homelessnes

I have been working with the youth and young adult population for almost 20 years. I volunteered with Junior Achievement in New Haven back in 2001, and worked with the Middlesex Mentoring Program in Middletown for years. Most recently I was a Consultant for the Governor’s Prevention Partnership, partnering with Mentoring Programs throughout CT such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters and True Colors. I worked for the Center for Children’s Advocacy in Hartford as their Outreach Coordinator where my role was to conduct outreach within the city of Hartford, to conduct assessments with youth & young adults 24 years old and under as well as provide Case Management services. My next position was the Residential Coordinator for the Women & Families Center’s Project REACH Transitional Living Program which houses six youth and young adults who have experienced homelessness, ages 18 – 22yoa. I am currently the Youth Special Projects Coordinator for the CT Coalition to End Homelessness. My role is to provide Training and Technical Assistance to Youth Navigators and CAN Staff as well as monitoring and approving funding requests submitted by Youth Navigators and CAN Staff, under the CT Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program HUD Grant…as well as other responsibilities that arise.
