Laura Ware is a program consultant for the Colorado Center on Law and Policy (CCLP). This role has emphasized learning how the implementation of the Workforce Innovations and Opportunities Act (WIOA) has impacted the ability of job-seekers that have experienced homelessness to access responsive employment and training services. This work has involved determining action steps in collaboration with state agencies that lead to better system integration between Continuums of Care, public benefits, employment and behavioral health systems. Laura has been designing, developing, implementing and managing employment, service and housing programs for individuals who have experienced homelessness and significant poverty and living with diverse challenges for over 35 years. Laura is a co-founder of the Community Housing Partnership in San Francisco.
