New Beginnings has four core programs:
1) The Donald J. Willfong Community Counseling Clinic which provides comprehensive mental health services to very low-income people, many with extreme behavioral health needs. The clinic serves 200 English and Spanish-speaking individuals, groups, couples, families and youth monthly, moving clients toward positive life changes. The clinic also provides Dialectical Behavioral Counseling and forensic assistance to veterans served through Veterans Treatment Court through a three-year SAMHSA partnership grant.
2) The Safe Parking Shelter and Rapid Rehousing provides rapid rehousing, case management, and outreach to the vehicular homeless and individuals referred through Coordinated Entry, and safe overnight parking shelter to people living in their vehicles.
3) Our Life Skills Parenting Education offers a series of psychoeducational classes and hands-on parenting skills, mindfulness strategies, and overall life skills to low-income families. These classes are provided at no-cost to both clients and sponsoring agencies.
4) Our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) CARF-accredited program provides short-term case management and temporary financial assistance to very low-income veterans living in or transitioning to permanent housing.
